Applying to an Undergraduate Program as an Overseas Chinese/Hong Kong & Macau Student
Recommendation by Overseas High Schools
Also known as School’s Individual Recruitment on the UECOCS website, the Recommendation by Overseas High Schools application system is for undergraduate programs at the NTU System (National Taiwan University, National Taiwan Normal University, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology). Outstanding students are recommended by their high school teachers or principal and further selected by the university faculty for admission. Contact your high school teachers to learn more about recommendation possibilities.

University Entrance Committee for Overseas Chinese Students (UECOCS)
UECOCS distributes overseas Chinese students (Hong Kong and Macau included) on behalf of committee member universities (recruiting programs include Bachelor, Master and Ph.D).

Individual Application Channel
At present, only the following programs are open for the 2024/2025 individual application channel:
- Japanese Language & Literature
- Veterinary Medicine
To find out the admission requirements and admission quotas for each undergraduate and graduate program available for 2023/2024, please refer to the UECOCS website. Applicants should apply via the UECOCS application system, and pay the application fee at the NTU Application Fee Payment System.
Distributed Allocation Channel
